Understand the issue and
your country’s position
with depth and integrity.

SPEAK

Present your position
clearly and persuasively
in the committee.

NEGOTIATE

Build coalitions and find
common ground with
diverse perspectives.

DRAFT

Turn competing ideas
into resolutions that
create real impact.

MEET THE CONFERENCE

SPMUN '26 is the first edition of St. Patrick Model United Nations — an academic simulation where students step into the roles of diplomats, research positions, defend them under scrutiny, build coalitions and work toward outcomes that can survive a vote.

RESEARCH

Read widely, cite honestly and understand the evidence behind your position.

DEBATE

Speak clearly, listen carefully and disagree without losing respect.

DIPLOMACY

Find agreement across differences and build a coalition that can deliver.

MEET THE COMMITTEES

UNGA – DISEC

Curbing the illicit trafficking of small arms and light weapons.

UNHRC

Ensuring the right to education for children in conflict-affected regions.

WHO

Adolescent mental health — academic stress, screen dependence and access to counselling.

AIPPM

Building an Indian Framework for Responsible AI and Deepfake Governance while Safeguarding Freedom of Speech and Democratic Processes.

INTERNATIONAL PRESS CORPS

Reporting, photography and the official conference diary.

AIPPM SPOTLIGHT

Represent a political position — not a caricature.

AIPPM is a domestic simulation. Delegates represent named individuals and political-party positions, debate with wider parliamentary latitude and work toward consensus statements or joint recommendations. The handbook emphasizes party line, constituency, governing record and knowing where you can concede without abandoning the party position.
